Hi! I am Bea and I am a freelance Makeup Artist based in the South West, although willing to travel. For me, Makeup is about the art of expressing someone´s beauty in many different ways, from enhancing the natural features to transform yourself into a completely different character. I love making others feel special through makeup.
If you want to know a little bit about my story, keep reading! I came to England in 2011 after finishing my Social Psychology degree in Spain but soon realized that my true passion was in a much more creative environment.
Two years ago I decided that I wanted to change my career and try something different. I have been working in hospitality ever since I came to the UK, although I have always been passionate about makeup since I was a little girl, so why not?
I completed Hair and Media Makeup and the Production Arts BTEC along with two photography courses at the City of Bristol College. During these two years, I have been participating in photoshoots, events and fashion makeup, such as Miss Bristol pageant in 2015 and 2016 or the masquerade ball for the RYMA. I participated in the AHT 1940s Hair and Makeup competition, awarded with the second position in the South West and competed in the National Finals.
In December 2016 I completed the Peter Swords King Film and Television Makeup Course, so I could push myself to keep my skills up to date and always go out of my comfort zone to learn from every single experience. This made me a round skilled artist, being really adaptable to my client's needs and briefs.
My CV is available on request.
